E4A Summit on Agentic Software Engineering
The software world is changing radically. New agentic development methods and tools use AI agents that plan and carry out development work, such as writing, reviewing, testing, and maintaining code, with human oversight. E4A is a working summit to exchange practices on deploying and using agentis SE in industry. We discuss methods and tools used, what works, what fails, and what does not yet scale. We aim to bring together practitioners, tool builders, and researchers and strengthen the European community.
Participating allows you to hear what peers are really doing and see where you stand. Compare your agentic SE adoption against peers in other companies and sectors. The event is organiized and moderated by researchers, who can contrast practices with the state-of-the-art.

Two days of experience reports and open discussion.
Each day opens with two morning keynotes, followed by experience-report talks and discussion sessions. Before the summit, participants answer a short survey to propose concrete topics, so the agenda reflects the challenges practitioners actually face. Talks are short and practice-focused; most of the time is open exchange. Timing is preliminary and will be finalized with invited speakers and participants.

The organizing team spans Ruhr University Bochum, Chalmers University of Technology, and the University of Gothenburg, with expertise across software quality, AI engineering, requirements engineering, empirical software engineering, and industrial collaboration.
